Ontario’s Tribunal System

Tribunals are public organizations with tribunal members or adjudicators
who have the legal power to hold hearings and make binding decisions in
many kinds of disputes and cases.
Tribunals act judicially and independently, and they must be treated
differently from advisory or operational boards or agencies.
Almost all adjudicative tribunals in the Ontario Government are in a
tribunal cluster, except the tribunals in the areas of health and labor.
